Jazz Guitars: Steve's main live guitar is a blonde Hofner Jazzica with a Kent Armstrong custom wound pickup and a K&K pure archtop pickup. He also plays a sunburst Eastman 810 CE with a custom Kent Armstong pickup. When in the midwest, Steve uses a blonde Epiphone Broadway.

Solid Body Guitars: Steve Scheller Custom Guitar-Red flame top-3 voice guitar with guitar synth and acoustic sounds. For blues and rock, Steve has a blonde Fender Strat and a blonde G&L ASAT.

I also have a Jim Dunlop Univibe, a Leslie, an MXR EQ, a Danelectro delay, a Danelectro Talk Box, a Vox Wah, a Mesa V-Twin, an Ibanez Tube Screamer, but I rarely use or perform with these. I am more of a guitar to amp kind of guy unless I am in a performance or recording situation where these may be needed.
